Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called just before 6.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 November) to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a white Toyota Prius on Werrington Road, Bucknall.
The woman, aged in her 70s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Her family are being supported by specially-trained officers at this time.
The driver of the Toyota stayed at the scene and is assisting us with our enquiries.
