We are investigating after robberies involving a group of teenagers in Tamworth.
A 15-year-old boy was on the green bridge on Tennyson Avenue at around 4.45pm on Sunday 3 November with two friends.
They were approached by a group of around 20 teenagers.
One of the suspects took a mobile phone, a power bank, a wireless speaker, £20 cash, and a silver chain from the victim.
Thankfully, no-one was injured but the victim was left shaken by what happened.
Just after 5.30pm the same day, we received reports that a 13-year-old boy had been approached by a group of teenagers as he left Farmfoods on Middle Entry.
One of the suspects took the victim’s bag, gloves and beanie hat. The victim was not injured.
Then, we received a report that at 5.15pm, on Castle Grounds, Holloway, two 14-year-old boys were engaged in conversation by a large group.
The suspects took two mobile phones and a gold watch and a silver necklace from the victims. Again, thankfully, the victims were not injured.
The group is described as all teenage boys, aged between 13 and 16 years old, and wearing black clothing and balaclavas. Some of them also had Birmingham accents.
We are appealing for anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 511 of 3 November, or by using Live Chat on our website.
