We are appealing for information after a motorcyclist died after being involved in a collision with a car recently.
We were called shortly before 2pm on Sunday (1 December) to the B5013 Blithfield Causeway, near Abbots Bromley, following reports of a collision.
A white BMW was found involved in a collision with a scooter-style motorbike.
Sadly, a man in his 50s, the rider of the motorbike, was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers at this difficult time.
The driver of the BMW remained at the scene and is assisting officers with their inquiries.
The road was closed in both directions as emergency services attended the incident and has since reopened.
