We are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Burton-upon-Trent town centre recently.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was walking along Station Street at around 11pm on 19 October when three men began following him. The suspects then passed the victim before circling back.
The victim was then punched three times to the head by one of the suspects and his hearing aid was stolen.
Thankfully, he did not require hospital treatment.
The suspects made off on foot in the direction of Union Street.
We have released CCTV images of individuals we would like to speak to in connection with the assault.
The suspect who we believe initiated the attack is described as a black man, aged 19 to 20, of a slim build with cornrows, wearing a black tracksuit and hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front, with black gloves.
The other two suspects are described as white men, aged 17 to 19, of slim build, each wearing blue fleece jackets.
Anyone who saw what happened or who recognises anyone in the images is advised to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 21240151078.
To report anonymously, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
