We have launched an investigation after cash was taken from a Co-op by a masked suspect in Tean.
At about 9.50pm on Saturday (23 November), a masked man demanded money from two members of staff inside the store on High Street.
The suspect was wearing a grey jacket, joggers, black gloves and brown walking boots. He was also carrying a kitchen knife at the time.
After taking the money, the suspect left the store.
Officers have gathered CCTV from the scene and have carried out a number of enquiries as part of our investigation into the incident.
We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or those with information that can help with our investigation. Call 101, quoting incident 681 of 23 November, or use Live Chat on our website.
