Two people have been arrested after we found lock-knives, drugs and cash following a foot-chase in Tamworth.
At about 5pm yesterday (9 May), proactive officers spotted two young men with balaclavas riding a suspected stolen motorbike near Robinia, Amington.
Following a short foot-chase, we stopped them for a search, finding two knives, cannabis, cash and scales.
A 16-year-old boy, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of possession a knife in a public place, being concerned in the supply of a class B drug and vehicle theft.
A 15-year-old boy, from Tamworth, was arrested on suspicion of possession a knife in a public place, vehicle theft, possession of a class B drug, driving without insurance and driving without a license.
Both of them were questioned in custody and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
