We have arrested two people after a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man suffered stab wounds in Stoke-on-Trent.
At 1.45pm on Saturday (25 May), we were called by our colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service, who were treating an 18-year-old with stab injuries on Ruthin Road, Bucknall.
Later, at 4.15pm, we were made aware of a 16-year-old boy with stab wounds at Royal Stoke Hospital.
Thankfully, neither of their injuries were believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. They have been released on conditional police bail while our enquiries continue.
