We have arrested three more people as we continue to investigate an incident involving men with weapons in Stoke-on-Trent from the weekend.
Officers were called at 5.45pm on Saturday (11 May) to reports of a group of men with weapons on Rochester Road.
We sent firearms officers to carry out a search of the area.
No-one has been reported injured.
The 25-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, who was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, has been questioned in custody and released on conditional police bail.
Three more arrests were made yesterday (Monday 13 May):
They have since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
We’re still keen to speak to people who were in the area at the time or those with information that can help us with our enquiries.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to those who were near Rochester Road, Longley Road or Edgefield Road at around 5.45pm on Saturday.
