A man has been charged with child sexual offences.
Sajid Najeeb, 36, of Burslem, has been charged with four counts of engaging in sexual communication with a child, two counts of possessing extreme a pornographic image/images and possession of an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child, following an investigation by our Child Exploitation Team.
He appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (Wednesday 1 May) and was remanded.
He is due to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 3 June.
We would urge anyone who has been a victim of sexual offences to come forward and report to us. We will listen to you, and you and your families will be supported by specially-trained detectives and support workers.
