A man has been arrested after two women were assaulted in Tamworth.
We were called just before midnight on Sunday (19 May) to Sutton Road, Mile Oak, following reports of violence.
Officers went to the scene with colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A woman was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury, alongside another woman, who suffered an injury to her elbow. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A 44-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of assault. A 14-year-old boy, from the Tamworth area, was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating.
Both have been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.
