We are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision on the A50 at Uttoxeter.
We were called just after 2.40am on Saturday morning (11 May) to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a HGV on the A50 Westbound between the Derby Road roundabout and the McDonald’s roundabout.
Sadly, the pedestrian, a 24-year-old man, died at the scene.
The driver of the HGV was not injured.
The man’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
We are keen to speak to anyone who was traveling in this area, along the A50 from 01.45am onwards on Saturday in particular, with any dashcam footage which could help collision investigators.
Call us on 101, quoting incident 129 of 11 May or message us using Live Chat on our website.
You can also get in touch with collision investigators directly by emailing [email protected]
