We’re appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Hopwas involving a small group of men.
Shortly before 2.30am this morning (Friday 24 May), we got a call to Hints Road saying that the suspects had gone inside the address and had taken a handbag and a designer coat.
We think four men were involved. Three of them went inside the property during the burglary. At least one of them appeared to be holding a machete.
After it happened, we think the suspects drove away in a small silver hatchback car. They went in the direction of Plantation Lane.
No-one was injured.
We’re keen to speak to witnesses or those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time.
Call 101, quoting incident 55 of 24 May, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
