We are appealing for information after a group of men with weapons were seen in Longton.
We were called at 5.45pm on Saturday (11 May) to reports of a group of men with weapons on Rochester Road.
Firearms officers attended and a 25-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. He is in custody being questioned by detectives.

There is an increased police presence in the area today to offer reassurance to the local community.
