Three people have been charged with drug supply offences following separate searches in Burton-on-Trent.
Shane Gledhill, 35, Laura Akers, 39, and Andrew Wortley, 48, all from the Burton-on-Trent area, appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday (5 March) charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
It comes after we searched two addresses in the Burton-on-Trent area on Monday (4 March).
All three have been remanded ahead of their next appearance at Stafford Crown Court on 5 April.
Officers across Staffordshire have been proactively targeting serious and organised crime as part of Operation Target.
Since it was launched in May last year, we have been working with local police forces to disrupt and pursue people who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
