A man has been charged after two people were assaulted inside a home in Stoke-on-Trent.
Benjamin Ellis, aged 37, of Fegg Hayes, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with two counts of wounding with intent, criminal damage, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
It comes after we were called to an address off Cumberbatch Avenue yesterday (Friday 8 March) when a man and a woman were assaulted by an intruder.
Both of the victim’s injuries aren’t life threatening and they have been discharged from hospital.
Ellis is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Saturday 9 March).
