A man has been charged after officers found heroin and crack cocaine in Tamworth.
Benjamin Francis, aged 33, of Tamworth, has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
It comes after we stopped a man on Cadogan Road, Tamworth, on Friday (8 March) and found a quantity of drugs.
Francis appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday (9 March) where he was remanded in custody to appear at Stafford Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
We have been proactively targeting serious and organised crime across Staffordshire as part of Operation Target.
Since it was launched in May last year, we have been working with local police forces to disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
