We have arrested a man on suspicion of multiple offences after searching an address in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers went to an address near Meaford Drive, Blurton, just before 6.30am this morning (Wednesday 20 March) to carry out a search.
The activity comes after we recovered a stolen Ford Transit van in the Blurton area on Monday (18 March).
We have arrested a 25-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal, driving a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and possessing a firearm without a certificate.
He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
Officers are expected to remain in the area today whilst searches at the address continue.
