We have arrested a man and a woman in Stoke-on-Trent after we carried out a drugs warrant and found cannabis and stolen bikes.
We went to an address in the Hartshill area just after 11.15am yesterday (Thursday 21 March).
Officers found cannabis, a pedal bike, two e-bikes and two off-road bikes, around £1,200 in cash, stolen tools and mobile phones.
We also seized two adult dogs which have been surrendered for humane destruction. Nine puppies are currently awaiting an assessment for rehoming.
A 33-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying class A drugs.
A 30-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis, burglary and handling stolen goods.
The woman has been released under investigation and the man has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
