We are continuing to appeal for information after a man died in a collision in Tamworth.
The collision, which happened at approximately 10pm on Sunday evening (3 March) on Comberford Road, involved a black Audi Q3 and a Harley Davidson motorbike.
The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 40s, was found with serious injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
We are particularly interested in witnesses, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from Coronation Street, Ludgate, Barbara Street, Hospital Street, Upper Gungate, Comberford Road, Gill Way and Wigginton Road between 9.45pm and 10pm.
Specially-trained officers are supporting the man’s family.
Two men, aged 23 and 51, both from Tamworth, arrested on suspicion of murder and causing death by dangerous driving, remain in custody while enquiries continue.
We’ve created an online portal where people can leave information and any CCTV, smart doorbell or dashcam footage that they may have. You can access the Major Incident Public Portal here:
