New recruits, who joined our force on a national detective programme for graduates, have completed initial training to equip them with the essential policing knowledge and skills they need to serve the communities of Staffordshire.
The 39 Police Now trainees have undergone 13 weeks of intensive training at the organisation’s national academy.
The course teaches the skills required in modern investigative work, including managing crime scenes, making arrests, handling complex investigations, and first aid and officer safety training.
Participants also sat their National Investigators’ Exam.
They will now continue the two-year programme within force, supported by coaches and colleagues to help them become an integral part of our work to tackle offending and support victims of crime in the county.
We’re continuing to recruit existing detectives looking to transfer to our major investigations department and major and organised crime proactive teams in Staffordshire.
