We’ve arrested three people following an incident involving off-road motorbikes in Stoke-on-Trent recently.
Officers were called to Central Forest Park in Hanley at 7.15pm on Sunday 2 June following reports of a collision involving a young girl and an off-road motorbike.
The rider of the bike rode off after it happened.
Thankfully, the girl was not seriously injured.
Since then, we’ve been speaking to people who were in the area at the time to track down those involved.
Three boys have been arrested:
All three have been questioned in custody and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
We’ve also been working closely with members of the local community and the girl’s school to support her and her family during the investigation.
Thanks to the generosity of local people, we helped to gift the young girl toys, books and activities.
