We have arrested a total of 14 people as our investigation continues into an incident involving a group of men with weapons in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers were first called at 5.45pm on Saturday 11 May when the group were seen on Rochester Road, Longton.
Firearms officers searched the area but no-one was found and no-one was reported injured.
Since then, a number of people from Stoke-on-Trent were arrested:
A 25-year-old woman, from Shrewsbury, and a 26-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, were also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
They, along with the other suspects, have all been questioned in custody and released on bail while we continue to investigate.
We’re continuing to progress of our lines of enquiry into the incident and would like to thank those who have come forward with information as part of this investigation.
