We are investigating after a woman sadly died following a collision in Forsbrook.
We went to Cheadle Road just after 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday 21 July), following reports of a collision involving a black Fiat 500, a black Kia Picanto, and a silver Ford Fiesta.
Colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service and the Midlands Air Ambulance also attended.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, a passenger in the Ford Fiesta, a woman in her 70s, sadly died at the scene.
Two men and a second woman involved in the collision sustained non-serious injuries and stayed at the scene to help us with our enquiries.
Sergeant Richard Moors, from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Collision Investigation Unit (CIU), said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has lost her life. Specially-trained officers are supporting them at this traumatic time.
“An investigation to establish the cause of the collision is underway.”
Anyone who may have seen the collision, or those with dashcam footage, can email [email protected], call 101 quoting incident number 433 of 21 July, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
