A woman has been arrested following a house fire in Tamworth.
We were called to an address on Gresley, Glascote, at 6.30pm last night (Tuesday 9 July) after someone spotted flames coming out of the window.
Officers went to the scene alongside colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service who put out the fire.
No-one was injured.
A 71-year-old woman, from Tamworth, has been arrested on suspicion of arson.
She has since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
