Two men have been charged after officers found drugs, phones, cash and a baton after searching a car and an address in Uttoxeter.
Morgan Edwards, 22, from Uttoxeter, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and MDMA, possession of MDMA, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply MDMA, being concerned in the supply of cannabis and ketamine, two counts of possessing criminal property and possession of an offensive weapon in private place.
Charlie Ufton, 23, from Uttoxeter, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, MDMA, cannabis and ketamine.
It comes after officers stopped a white Audi A5 on Park Street, Uttoxeter, at 7.25pm on Thursday 13 October, 2022, and found cannabis, cocaine, phones and snap seal bags.
When officers later went to an address in the town, they found cash, cocaine, ecstasy tablets, scales, cannabis and a telescopic baton.
Both men are due to appear at Cannock Magistrates’ Court on the Wednesday 4 September.
We continue to proactively target serious and organised crime across Staffordshire, as part of Operation Target, and more than 1,000 people have been arrested on suspicion of drug and weapon offences in the county since the crackdown was launched last May.
