A man has been charged following a stabbing in Burton-on-Trent.
At around 10.15pm on Tuesday (23 July), we were called to Queen’s Hospital in the town following reports that a man, in his 30s, had arrived there with stab wounds.
He remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Declan Holness, 30, from Burton-on-Trent, has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 26 July).
