A man has been charged following an assault on three police officers and a member of the public in Stoke-on-Trent.
Kia Cox, 33, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with one count of assault by beating of an emergency worker, two of intentional strangulation, and one of assault.
It comes after we were called to reports of a disturbance at a house near to Corporation Street, in Stoke, at 12.20am this morning (Thursday 11 July).
Three police officers and a man, in his 50s, were injured. All three officers went to hospital and have been discharged. The man also went to hospital for treatment.
Cox is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre tomorrow (Friday 12 July).
