A man has been arrested following a fire in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called just after 3.30am Sunday (28 July) morning to reports of a car on fire which had spread to a nearby building on Rosebery Street, Pittshill.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
A 39-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
He has since been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.
Anyone with information that can help with our investigation is encouraged to get in touch. We’re also keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time.
