A man has been arrested following a collision with a motorbike in Forton, near Stafford.
We were called just after 10.15pm on Wednesday (17 July) to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike outside The Swan Inn on Eccleshall Road.
The rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital but their injuries are not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A 36-year-old man, from Newport, has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He was further arrested for possession of a class B drug and attempting to possess a class B drug.
He has since been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
