We have arrested four men after a man found with stab wounds died in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called to Buccleuch Road, Normacot, by West Midlands Ambulance Service to reports of a man in cardiac arrest at 12.50am this morning (Monday 22 July).
The man was found in an alleyway with serious injuries and sadly nothing could be done to save him.
Four men, aged 20, 23, 26 and 45, all from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Cordons are in place in the Normacot area while we carry out enquiries.
There will be an increased police presence in the area, including high-visibility patrols to offer reassurance and support the community. Anyone who has any concerns is encouraged to speak to an officer.
Residents who live on Buccleuch Road, Chaplin Road, Windsor Avenue and Hamilton Road are urged to check CCTV and doorbell footage between 10pm on Sunday (21 July) and 1am today (Monday 22 July).
We’ve created an online portal where people can leave information and any CCTV, smart doorbell or dashcam footage that they may have. You can access the Major Incident Public Portal here:
