Detectives have made an arrest after a man was stabbed following disorder in Burton-on-Trent.
Just before 10.15pm on Tuesday (23 July), we were called to Queen’s Hospital in the town following reports that a man, in his 30s, had gone there with stab wounds.
He remains in hospital today in critical condition.
A 30-year-old man, from the Burton area, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody while our enquiries continue.
Officers have been investigating to find out more about what happened and to reassure the local community.
