Detectives are appealing for information following a road rage incident in Stoke-on-Trent.
We got a call just after 7pm yesterday (11 July) to reports that a black Ford Mondeo was being followed by a white BMW on Tunstall High Street.
The victim, a driver in his 30s, reported seeing two men, aged between 20 and 30, with weapons inside the Ford before his back windscreen was smashed.
Firearms officers searched the area and no weapons were found. The Ford had left the scene before they arrived.
Specialist officers carried out further negative searches for the Ford in the Stoke-on-Trent area between 10.15pm and 10.35pm. We believe it may have headed in the direction of Kidsgrove.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and has information that could help with our enquiries, or those with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, is urged to get in touch.
