We’re appealing for information following reports a man was stabbed in Tamworth.
Just before 7.30pm last night (Thursday 18 July), we were called to Greatmead in Kettlebrook following reports that someone had been stabbed.
The victim made his own way home and was spoken to by officers. He was taken to hospital but isn’t thought to have life-threatening or life-changing injuries at this time.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries to find out more about what happened and reassure the local community.
A number of officers will be in the area today (Friday 19 July) to continue progressing enquiries and speaking to people who might have information that can help with the investigation.
If you saw what happened or have any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time, get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 730 of 18 July, or use Live Chat on our website.
To report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Tell them what you know, not who you are.
