Two men and a woman have been arrested after a car was stolen from a home in Stoke-on-Trent.
A blue Ford Fiesta was reported stolen from an address in Blurton, just after 3.15am this morning (Friday 5 January) by three suspects, seen wearing balaclavas.
The car was found abandoned on Bell Lane, Barlaston, and has since been recovered.
Shortly after, all three suspects were seen getting into a white Volkswagen Polo on Bell Lane.
Following a search of the Polo, we seized a quantity of cannabis, mobile phones and scales.
An 18-year-old man, from Dudley, and a 20-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, were both arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
An 18-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
All three remain in custody and inquiries are ongoing.
