Man charged following stop-and-search

A man has been charged following a stop-and-search in Burton-on-Trent.
Joshua Page, 19, from Burton-on-Trent, has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin, two counts of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possessing a weapon in a public place, assaulting an emergency worker and failing to provide a sample for analysis.
It comes following two separate searches in the area on Tuesday (16 January) and last year on 23 November.
Page is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 18 January).
