CCTV issued following assault at shop

We have issued a CCTV still of a man we wish to speak to following an assault at a shop in Lichfield.

We received reports of an assault at Tesco Extra on Church Street just after 10.15am on 27 November 2023.

The victim, a member of staff and a man in his 30s, suffered a minor eye injury but did not need any treatment.

The suspect is described as white, of a slim build, around 6ft 2ins tall and in his mid-30s. He was seen wearing a yellow coat with a denim jacket on top.

Following the assault, we believe he left the scene on foot in the direction of Lichfield City train station.
