We are appealing for information following a deliberate fire at a house in Burton-on-Trent.
Officers went to an address near James Street just before 8.45pm on Saturday (27 January).
Our colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service were already there and extinguished the fire.
Shortly after, the fire was deemed to be caused deliberately.
