We are appealing for information after two stolen cars were found in Stoke-on-Trent.
Just after 1.45pm on Friday (19 January), officers on patrol spotted a black MG and a black Audi A3 on Hollington Lane, Stramshall.
Both of the drivers failed to stop after we tried to pull them over.
We believe both cars travelled in the direction of Barlaston Road, with the MG believed to have been displaying cloned plates.
Just before 5pm, both cars were found in the Bentilee area of Stoke-on-Trent and have since been recovered.
We are keen to speak to any witnesses or those with any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from these areas.
Call us on 101, quoting incident 319 of 19 January, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
You can also report anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
We are continuing to proactively target those responsible for vehicle crime as part of our Operation Bormus commitment.
Specialist officers and road policing colleagues are regularly patrolling hotspot locations, carrying out stop and searches on vehicles and targeting those who seek to steal from residents and businesses in our communities.
