We arrested two suspected drug dealers after finding cocaine and hundreds of pounds worth of cash in a car in Stoke-on-Trent.
Just before 2pm on Tuesday (27 February) officers stopped and searched an Audi S3 on James Brindley Way, Tunstall. We found cocaine, worth around £500, and £450 in cash.
A further quantity of drugs were then discovered on a man in custody.
A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both from the Stoke-on-Trent area, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Both men have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
We have been proactively targeting serious and organised crime across Staffordshire as part of Operation Target.
Since it was launched in May last year, we have been working with local police forces to disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
