We have teamed up with an outdoor activity shop to help local officers on the beat across Stoke-on-Trent.
PCSO Adam Hetherington, Emma Phillips, Shop Manager at Pau Run and Ride, Sgt Tracy Robinson and PCSO Stephen Sherratt
Thanks to Pau Run and Ride, located at the Trentham Estate, two push bikes have been donated to the Stoke South local policing team (LPT) and will be used to patrol areas including Blurton, Newstead, Trent Vale and Trentham.
Bicycle maintenance company Cycle Services 2 U branded the bikes.
The bikes will be used by local officers as part of their face-to-face engagement with local residents and businesses. It will also help us cut down on carbon emissions.
PCSO Stephen Sherratt, one of the PCSOs who will be using the bikes, said: “I would like to thank Pau Run and Ride and Cycle Services 2 U for their support in supplying and designing both bikes.
“Using these bikes will increase officer visibility and accessibility to the public, as well as brining health benefits to officers and reducing our carbon footprint.”
