Three men have been arrested after officers discovered a cannabis grow in a property in Stoke-on-Trent.
We were called shortly before 1.45pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 January) to an address on Piccadilly in Hanley.
A total of 90 mature cannabis plants and 90 seedlings were discovered, along with equipment used in the production of cannabis, including lights and transformers.
A 31-year-old man, from the Birmingham area, and a 26-year-old man, of no fixed address, were arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).
A 22-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis).
All three men have been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
The plants were seized and the property secured.
Officers across the region are continuing to proactively target drug cultivation as part of our Operation Levidrome commitment.
