A man has been charged with drug supply offences following a stop-and-search in Tamworth.
Michael Hawkeswood, 40, from Tamworth, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and resisting a constable in the execution of duty.
It comes after we stopped a man on West Street, Kettlebrook, at 1.30pm on 20 February and seized drugs, cash and a mobile phone.
He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 22 February).
