A man has been charged with multiple offences following two separate incidents in Stoke-on-Trent.
Brian Cureton, 50, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with grievous bodily harm, five counts of assaulting an emergency worker, arson and possession of cannabis.
It comes following two separate incidents on Boundary Street, Hanley.
In October last year, a man in his 60s was assaulted and went to hospital with serious injuries. He has since been discharged.
When responding to the incident, four officers were assaulted but didn’t suffer any injuries.
Then, in February this year, we were called to the same street after our colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service extinguished a fire inside an address. An officer was assaulted when this happened, but wasn’t injured.
