A man has been charged after a car was stolen in Stafford.
Leroy Simpson, 44, of Birmingham, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, failing to stop, driving whilst disqualified and robbery.
It comes after a Skoda Octavia was taken from Newport Road on Sunday night (18 February).
Our colleagues from Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) later found it on the M42.
Simpson is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (20 February).
