We are appealing for information following a collision on the M6 southbound between junctions 15 and 16.
It happened at around 11.40am yesterday (Monday 12 February) on the southbound carriageway involving a silver Ford Transit van, a red Vauxhall Corsa and a grey Ford Puma.
The driver and passengers of the Vauxhall Corsa were taken to hospital by paramedics.
The driver of the Corsa, a man in his 40s, remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
A woman and a child, from the Corsa, suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
We’re keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or those with dashcam footage of the area at the time.
