We are appealing for information, following a serious assault in Stoke-on-Trent.
At around 5.45am on Sunday (4 February), there was a fight outside the Groove Castle club on Trinity Street in Hanley. A man, in his 20s, was left unconscious.
He received treatment at the scene.
A 17-year-old boy, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has since been released on conditional bail, whilst our enquiries continue.
We are keen to speak to anyone else who saw what happened or those with information that can help us.
