We are appealing for information after a fire was set deliberately inside the toilets of a restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent.
It happened around 4.50pm on 8 December last year. Two girls, who were about 16 or 17, went inside McDonalds on Parliament Row in Hanley. They went into the toilets and left after the fire alarm started going off.
The restaurant was evacuated after smoke was seen coming from the toilets.
We’re keen to speak to people who were there at the time as part of our enquiries.
Both girls were white and about 5ft 7in tall.
One of them was wearing a black jacket, a black Nike top and white shoes. The other one was wearing a black jacket and black shoes.
If you were in the area at the time of the fire or have any information that could help us with our inquiries, call 101, quoting incident 627 of 8 December, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
