A man has been charged with driving offences following a vehicle pursuit that started on the M6 motorway, near Stafford.
Lewis Moore, 34, from Neston, Cheshire, has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop when required by a constable, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.
It comes after a blue Ford Fiesta ST was followed by officers from our road crime team (RCT), up to near junction 16, yesterday morning (Monday 30 December).
Moore has been released on conditional bail to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday 24 January.
