A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a collision involving three parked cars earlier today (Tuesday 31 December).
We were called shortly after midnight to Burntwood Road in Norton Canes following reports of a man running from the scene of a collision.
A white Fiat Doblo van had been involved in a collision with the parked cars which included a silver Kia Rio, a grey Mini Countryman and a black Land Rover Discovery.
No one was reported injured.
A man was detained by officers on Walsall Road a short time later.
A 36-year-old man, from Cannock, was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink.
He remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
All vehicles were recovered and the road was cleared by 2.40am.
