Two people have been charged with drug supply offences after we found an estimated £400,000-worth of cocaine in Tamworth.
Shane Shorthouse, 29, of Stonydelph, Tamworth, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possessing a controlled class B drug (cannabis).
Georgina Warren, 34, of Bolehall, Tamworth, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
It comes after we searched an address in Bolehall and found four kilogrammes of cocaine, believed to be worth around £400,000 in street value, along with a small amount of cannabis and a large amount of other suspected drugs that are being examined.
Both of them are due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 19 December).
